Zulma Lizzette Berrios, passed away on July 10th, 2020 at the age of 52. Zulma was born on June 04, 1968, in Bridgeport, Connecticut and was a lifelong resident. Zulma is survived by her mother Idalia Torres, Great Grandmother Adelida Torres both of bridgeport her two daughters Vanessa Muñiz (Milford, Connecticut) and Nisha Lee Sandoval (Portland, Oregon),Her grandchildren Anthony Mendes and Mariah Groves (Milford, Connecticut) her Partner Raul Sandoval of bridgeport her brothers Martin Berrios Jr., Nicolas Ocasio, Jose Berrios, Victor Berrios, her sisters Paulita Brooks, Luz Sanchez, Frances Hernandez, Norma Berrios and Maria Corriette. A host of aunts,uncles,nieces,nephews and cousins.
She is predeceased by her father Martin Berrios, and brother Getulio Sigino.
Zulma was a graduate of Bassick High School and Goodwin College. She was a longtime worker in the medical field and was a pharmacist technician for the past 15 years.
She was a vivacious, generous, and compassionate woman. Zulma enjoyed dancing, exercising was full of energy and always kept a sense of style. Her infectious laugh and hugs made everyone feel safe, wanted and loved. She will be missed not only by her family but from the many lives she's touched throughout the years. Zulma was the head of the household and her life revolved around her family, she was a devoted mother and gave her daughters the best life. Zulma also spoiled her grandchildren with love and encouragement and always supported them within their school and activities.
