Zoila Carmen Lazarte Loyola

With deep sorrow and heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Zoila Carmen Lazarte Loyola, who departed this life on March 21, 2025, at Connecticut Hospice in Branford, CT. Born on December 31, 1961, in Peru, Zoila moved to the United States more than 20 years ago, where she built a life rooted in love, service, and generosity.
Zoila was known for her deep care and compassion, especially through her work—she loved her job and was deeply dedicated to the well-being of her patients. She lived to support others and had a heart that always reached out to family and friends alike. Her kindness, warmth, and selflessness left a lasting mark on all who had the privilege of knowing her.
She is survived by her beloved sons, Cristian Ocaña and Jonathan Ocaña. She was predeceased by her father, Pedro Lazarte Leon and mother Julia Loyola Fernandez.
Zoila also leaves behind her devoted siblings: Pedro, Walter, Miguel, César, Ricardo, Gladys, and Carlos Lazarte, who will always remember her as a nurturing sister and tireless supporter of her family.
Family and friends are invited to attend the viewing on Saturday, March 29, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Funeraria Luz de Paz, 426 E. Washington Avenue, Bridgeport, CT.
Following services in the U.S., Zoila will be lovingly returned to her homeland and laid to rest at Camposanto MAPFRE in Lurigancho Chosica, Peru—a place close to her heart.
Her life was a beautiful example of compassion and dedication. She will be profoundly missed and forever remembered.
