Victor Pimentel

April 26, 1957 — March 5, 2025

Victor Pimentel, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, departed this world on March 5, 2025, leaving behind a legacy woven with humor, resilience, and an unwavering spirit. Born on April 26, 1957, in the serene town of Loiza, Puerto Rico, Victor's journey to Bridgeport, Connecticut, was marked by a commitment to hard work and an infectious joy that lit up the lives of those around him.

Throughout his career as a dedicated construction worker, Victor not only built structures but also forged lasting connections within his community. His labor was not just a means of livelihood; it was an expression of his passionate spirit, a testament to his steadfast nature. Victor approached life like he approached his work: with an unyielding determination and a sense of humor that was utterly infectious. He often regaled friends and family with laughter, reminding us all that joy could be found even in the most challenging times. "I am perfect," he would declare with a mischievous twinkle in his eye, a mantra that spoke to his zest for life and his refusal to let adversity define him.

Victor was not only a fighter in his career but also a courageous warrior in the face of illness, demonstrating a strength that inspired all who knew him. His remarkable ability to face life’s hurdles with grace and laughter exemplified his remarkable personality, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of family and friends.

His passion extended beyond his work and humor; he reveled in the melodic strains of music and found great joy in working on classic cars. The smooth sounds of his favorite tunes blended with the rhythm of his tools, creating a symphony of life that resonated with warmth and nostalgia.

Victor’s love story with his wife, Elizabeth Pimentel, of 40 years was one marked by devotion and shared moments that will forever echo in the lives of their family. Together, they nurtured a beautiful family that includes their beloved daughters, Brenda L. Pimentel and Ana Maria Culmer (Dewar). His legacy continues through his six cherished grandchildren and one great-grandchild, each a reflection of the joy and laughter he brought to their lives.

He is also survived by his siblings, Dolores, Abraham, Jacqueline, Daniel, and Raul, who carry the warmth of his spirit and the lessons learned from his wisdom. They stand united in their grief, holding each other closely as they remember the vibrant man who filled their lives with laughter and love.

Victor was preceded in death by his dear parents, Perfecto Pimentel and Ana Maria Vazquez, whose guidance shaped him into the extraordinary person he became.
