Victor Hernan Martinez, Sr.

Victor Hernan Martinez, Sr., born on January 5, 1972, in Arecibo, Puerto Rico, to the late Hernan Ramon Martinez and the late Luz Maria Linares, passed away peacefully on December 8, 2024, in his home in Trumbull, Connecticut.

Victor was a devoted husband to Ana M. Martinez, a loving father to his children, Victor H. Martinez, Jr., Arlene Dianara Martinez, and Arleanys Diane Martinez, and a cherished sibling to his brothers Herman Martinez, David (Shannah) Martinez, Hector (Yeycis) Martinez, and Hernan (Natalia) Martinez, as well as his sister, Aida (Martin Vega) Martinez. His family and friends were the center of his world, and he gave his all to ensure their happiness and well-being.

Victor was a man of strong opinions, tempered with fairness and a caring heart. Selfless to a fault, he brought his unique sense of humor and zest for life to every interaction, leaving a lasting impression on all who knew him. His love for motorcycles, running, and connecting with nature reflected his adventurous spirit. He cherished traveling and explored many places, including the scenic beauty of Costa Rica, Aruba and his beloved Puerto Rico.

For over 30 years, Victor was a dedicated employee of King Industries in Norwalk, Connecticut. His hard work and commitment were a testament to his strong work ethic and unwavering dedication.

Victor’s life was a vibrant tapestry of love, laughter, and adventure. His family and friends will forever remember his kindness, resilience, and the joy he brought to their lives. Though his departure leaves an irreplaceable void, his spirit will continue to inspire those who knew and loved him.

Details regarding services:

-Visitation will take place on Friday, December 13, 2024 beginning at 10:00 AM. until 1:00 PM. The family has asked for there to be no photography or videography of any kind.

-Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home.

-Interment will then take place at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull, CT.
