Victor M. Diaz

Victor M. Diaz, age 73, beloved son of the late Ramon Diaz and the late Maria D. Diaz has passed away into the peaceful rest of the Lord on Saturday, December 2, 2022, in his home.  Victor was born in Barrio Anones, Naranjito, Puerto Rico but relocated to the United States mainland some time ago. He was employed for many years in the City of Bridgeport as a social worker before his retirement.  Many knew Victor for the natural born talent he had of playing his guitar. He played for a group called Dance Rapture, where many were blessed with his God Given gift of music.  This was his natural gift as he had no formal training.    He was always attentive to his family whom he loved and would constantly share the wonderful things each was doing with each other when he saw them.  If he saw a need, he felt compelled to provide and give to others who he felt needed it more than him.  He will be sadly missed by all.

Victor is survived by his siblings Ramon Diaz, Iris D. Diaz Nieves, and Ruth Santiago; many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends who will dearly miss him.  He was preceded in death by his parents but also his siblings the late Adawilda Fonseca, and the late Jose E. Diaz.

Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Thursday, December 8, 2022, beginning at 10:00 A.M. at Funeraria Luz de Paz, (Peaceful Light Funeral Home) 426 E. Washington Avenue, Bridgeport.  Interment will follow in the Lakeview Cemetery, 885 Boston Avenue, Bridgeport, CT at approx 1:00 P.M.
