Vanessa Abigail Muñoz

Vanessa A. Muñoz, age 23 of Bridgeport, returned to the Loving Arms of the Lord suddenly on Friday, December 18, 2020 in New Haven. She was born in Brooklyn, New York; daughter of Eduardo A. Muñoz and Carmen Capristan prior to relocating to Connecticut. Vanessa was a charismatic and loving person who enjoyed making videos, taking selfies, and posting them for all the world to see. She loves spending time with and singing with her nephews all the time. Vanessa also enjoyed soccer and wearing her BKNY gear. She always made sure she looked her best; her outfit, hair and makeup always on point. More than anything, Vanessa was a fantastic and loyal friend. Along with her parents, Vanessa is survived by her siblings, Maritza Sanchez, Roy A. Muñoz, and Edward R. Muñoz; and a host of other relatives and friends that will sorely miss her. Vanessa now rests in paradise along with her grandparents as they all sing together in harmony. Family and friends are invited to attend Calling Hours from 7 to 9 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 28, 2020 at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, 426 E. Washington Ave. Bridgeport, CT 06608. Her Funeral Service is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, followed by her interment at Mt. Grove Cemetery, Bridgeport.
