Tomasa Lugo

Tomasa Lugo, 90, returned to the loving arms of the Lord on February 4, 2023, in Shelton, CT.  She was born in Arecibo, Puerto Rico.  

Tomasa was a very nurturing, caring and humble person.  She was a very attentive homemaker who cared for the needs of her entire family.  Her grandchildren were the apple of her eye and looked forward to babysitting them.  One of her greatest attributes were her culinary talents.  The special touches she added to every meal making each dish delectable.  

Tomasa leaves behind to honor her memory her loving children Elizabeth Rodriguez (Manuel), Santos Canales (Carmen), and Zoe; 12 precious grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren and a host of friends and relatives that will miss her dearly.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, February 8, 2023, from 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM at Funeraria Luz de Paz, 426 East Washington Avenue, Bridgeport, CT.  Interment will follow at Mt. Grove Easton, 1 Harvester Road, Easton, CT.
