Thomas E. Asbury

Thomas E. Asbury, 22, returned to the loving arms of the Lord at Bridgport Hospital, on May 6, 2022, surrounded by the love of his family.  He was born in Bridgeport, CT to Anthony Asbury and Rebecca E. Boyle.

Thomas was a very joyful and happy person.  He had a great sense of humor and was a free spirit.  He had a tough exterior with a very soft interior.  His golden heart will be missed by all.

Thomas leaves behind to cherish his memory his precious daughter A'niyah Simone Asbury, his loving siblings Anthony W. Asbury and Antoinette Asbury, his grandmother Marylee Asbury and great grandmother Edna B. Haley, a special aunt Tammy Boyle and a host of friends and family that will miss him dearly.  He was predeceased by a brother Travis Vann and grandparents: Morris Asbury, Jane Leone and Charles Boyle.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, May 14, 2022, from 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM at Luz de Paz Funeral Home, 426 East Washington Avenue, Bridgeport, CT.

To Thomas's Family - I am absolutely heartbroken - I was his Kindergarten Teacher - he was not an easy student - BUT - he sure was a bright light and joy to have in my classroom. He came in each and every day with the biggest smile on his face - we called him "Tommy Tuna," and he would just crack up. He was one of the students that I will always REMEMBER - I am so sorry for your loss and please know that Tommy and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers. Tommy you will not be forgotten - I can still see that beautiful smile on your face !!!!!
