Sonia Iris Torres

Sonia Iris Torres, age 61, the beloved daughter of the late Antonio Reboira and the late Herminia Otaño, has passed away into the Glorious Presence and the peaceful rest in the Lord on September 7, 2019 in her home while surrounded by her family; Sonia was born in Waterbury, CT but had relocated to the Bridgeport area where she resided most of her life; Sonia was a loving woman and a woman that had loved everyone she came across! She had a genuine heart paralleled to very few on this earth and a willingness to always be there for her family and friends; She cared for everyone's children and the children of the children when that time arrived too; Everyone cherished Sonia, because they knew they would always have that one to talk to, that one to lean on, but above all that one who would just listen at times and share the tears and share your joy. She will be sadly missed by all because there could never be anyone to replace Sonia in their hearts and minds. Sonia leaves to cherish her memory her daughters Valeria Torres, Carmelita Torres, Iris (Richard) Torres Tracy and Melissa (Otis) Poitier; her siblings Deluvina Maldonado, Maria Morales, Nansi Aponte, Juan Reboira, Jimmy Reboira, David Reboira and Judy Reboira; 15 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends whom will forever cherish her love and the memories she leaves for a lifetime. Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Wednesday, September 11, 2019 beginning at 11:00 A.M until 1:00 P.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, ( Peaceful Light Funeral Home), 426 E.
