Shirley Soto Virella

Shirley Soto Virella, 48, returned to the loving arms of the Lord on August 21, 2024, in her home.  She was born in Bronx, NY to Luis A. Soto and Aida L. Diaz.  She is the beloved wife of Jose L. Virella.

Shirley was an incredibly nurturing and kind person.  Her sole priority in life was her family, from rearing her siblings to countless hours enjoying her precious grandchildren.  She coordinated family gatherings and always reached out to all members of her family.  In her spare-time she enjoyed listening to music, watching movies and watching soap operas/ novelas.

Aside from her beloved husband Jose Virella and her parents, Shirley leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving daughters Melanie, Meladie and Giannah Virella, her precious grandchildren, her dear brothers Kenny, Richard and Dherel Soto and a host of friends and relatives that will miss her dearly.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, August 31, 2024, from 10:00 am - 1:00 pm at Funeraria Luz de Paz, 426 East Washington Avenue, Bridgeport, CT.
