Santos Cruzado

Santos Cruzado, Jr., age 78, of Bridgeport has passed away from this earth into peaceful rest on March 16, 2023, in Bridgeport Hospital, Bridgeport, CT. Santos was born in Manati, Puerto Rico to the late Santos Cruzado, Sr., and the late Inocensia Robles.  Santos is the husband of Dorothy Cruzado who did not skip a beat as she cared for him every step of the way.  Santos was employed at the Bridgeport Housing Authority for many years before his retirement. He enjoyed quiet times, but also spending time with family and friends. He enjoyed watching some great horse races and gambling.  He will be sadly missed by all.  

In addition to his beloved wife, Santos is survived by his children John A. Cruzado, Michael Cruzado, Joy Cruzado, Cassandra Fortini, Allen Morales and Dominique Kolodziejczyk.  His siblings Georgina Cruzado, Esmirna Alejandro, Victoria Rae Hope and Alba Mondezie.  14 Grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends who will sorely miss him.  In addition to his parents, Santos was preceded in death by his siblings the late Wilfredo Cruzado, the late Emilio Cruzado, the late Elena Rodriguez and the late Carmen G. Cruzado.  

Friends are invited to attend viewing/visitation on Wednesday, March 22, 2023, beginning at 10:00 A.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, (Peaceful Light Funeral Home), 426 E. Washington Avenue, Bridgeport, CT.
