"King" Choulamountry

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the sudden passing of Santiraj "King" Choulamountry, a beloved son, Grandson, brother, and friend. King's genuine personality, good heart, love for children, and free spirit touched the lives of all who knew him. Born on June 28, 1983, in Bridgeport, CT, and on October 18, 2023, departed this world.  

From an early age, King found joy in playing video games for hours on end. It was through this immersive medium that he discovered worlds of adventure and excitement. His passion for video games extended beyond mere entertainment; it was a form of expression and a way to connect with others who shared his enthusiasm.

In addition to his love for gaming, King had an avid interest in wrestling and would often spend his time watching WWF matches on television. The thrill of the ring captivated him as he cheered on his favorite wrestlers. He enjoyed discussing wrestling trivia with friends and family, his eyes lighting up with excitement as he relived memorable moments from epic matches.

Kings memory will forever be etched in our hearts as we celebrate the beautiful moments in the life he lived. Though his time with us was cut short, his impact on those around him is immeasurable.

A visitation service will be held to honor  King at the Funeraria Luz De Paz,  located at 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport, CT 06608 on October 26, 2023. The visitation event will begin at 5:00 PM and conclude at 8:00 PM.

King leaves behind a grieving family who will cherish their memories with him forever. He was predeceased by his loving mother, Marisol Sanchez. Left to mourn his loss are his father, Sunshine Chounlamountry, his dear grandmother, Felicita Fernandez, and his siblings: J.C, Tito  and Jenny and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives & friends.  

In these difficult times, let us remember the joy King brought into our lives. May we find solace in the memories we shared with him.
