Russell A. Aguirre, a devoted father, fearless soul, a man of profound generosity, passed away on July 8, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of compassion and wisdom that will forever be cherished by those who knew him. was born on October14, 1959, in Homestead, FL, to Francisco Aguirre and Ileana Velez.

Russell's life was marked by his unwavering dedication to his family and the pursuit of knowledge. Russell's spiritual journey led him to the practice of Santeria, where he sought a deeper understanding of his roots. His quest for knowledge even took him on a spiritual journey to Africa, a testament to his thirst for wisdom and connection to his heritage.

Beyond his personal endeavors, Russell was known for his caring nature and generous spirit. He touched the lives of many with his kindness and willingness to help others in need. His children, Russell and Humberto, will carry forward his legacy with pride and continue to honor the values he instilled in them.

Russell is survived by his sons Russell Niko and his wife Carolyn and Humberto "Tony", five precious grandchildren and one arriving soon, as well as his brothers Francisco, Brian, and Albert. While he may no longer be present among us physically, Russell's memory will live on through the love he shared and the lives he touched.  Aside from his parents, he is predeceased by his sister Carmen.

A viewing service to celebrate Russell's life will be held on July 20, 2024, at Funeraria Luz De Paz in Bridgeport, CT. The viewing will take place from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM as friends and family come together to commemorate a remarkable man whose presence will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
