Ruben Villanueva Jr.

Ruben Villanueva Jr., age 62, the beloved son of the late Ruben Villanueva Sr, and Dolores Villanueva, has entered into the peaceful rest of the Lord on Thursday, September 16, 2021, in the Touchpoint of Manchester Nursing Home. Ruben was born in Bridgeport and resided here most of his life. He was a very articulate man, caring, and demonstrated great love for his fellow man. He would have in-depth conversations with those he came across, thus sharing with them the level passion he had in life. He was very, unique, creative, loved to paint and draw. He even attended school to become an architect. Ruben had a good and loving heart and would give the shirt off his back if anyone was in need. Ruben leaves to cherish his memory his only sister Evelyn Villanueva and her husband Angel Hernandez of Stratford and a host of other friends and relatives who will dearly miss him.

Friends are invited to atrend calling hours on Sunday, Sept. 19, 2021, from 4 to 7 PM at the Funeraria Luz Paz, 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport, CT. Funeral services have been scheduled for Tuesday, September 21, 2021 beginning at 10:00 AM at the funeral home followed by interment in the Lakeview Cemetery, Bridgeport Connecticut.
