Rosa Amelia Carrasquillo

Rosa Amelia Carrasquillo, 78, returned to the loving arms of the Lord on May 30, 2024, at Bridgeport Hospital, Bridgeport, CT.  She was born in Gurabo, Puerto Rico to the late Eusebio Carrasquillo and the late Providencia Ruiz.

Rosa was a kind soul who greeted everyone with a warm embrace.  She was a dedicated servant of the Lord who actively worshipped at Good Sheperd Christian Church in Bridgeport, CT.  Her greatest accomplishment was that of an amazing mother and grandmother who lovingly cared for her family.

Rosa leaves behind to honor her memory her loving children Edwin Guadalupe, Jorge Guadalupe, Gloria Rivera, Maria Carrasquillo (Carlos), Samuel Aviles (Denise), Esmeralda Aviles and Esmeraldo Marcano her precious grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great great grandchildren and a host of friends and relatives that will miss her dearly.  

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 13, 2024, from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm at Good Sheperd Christian Church, 725 Hancock Avenue, Bridgeport, CT.  Interment will follow immediately after at Mt. Grove Easton Cemetery, 100 Harvester Road, Easton CT.
