Robbie Lee Nelson, age 66, beloved husband of 46+ years of Magdalena Nelson has entered the Gates of Heaven on September 14, 2018. Robbie was born in Menon, South Carolina to the late Luther Nelson and the Late Warease Singleton Nelson, but had relocated to the Connecticut many years ago. Robbie was a good man, full of love and charisma which he shared with everyone he came across. In addition to his wife, Robbie is survived by his sons Robbie Luis Nelson and Robbie Nelson, Jr.; his daughters Anjela Nelson, Kelly Laurore and her spouse Michael Laurore, and Regina Nelson; ten grandchildren with Special Mention of Desiree Davis; one great grandson; his two sisters Mrs. Lula Welfare and Ms. Claretha Nelson both of Norwalk; and his two brothers, Will Luis Nelson and Jerome Nelson of Norwalk; Aunts Mrs. Ruby Sano of Norwalk, CT and Mrs. Elease Reynolds of Sumter, South Carolina; his sisters in Law, Nieve Lopez, Barbara Williams and Sylvia Gean; Brothers in Law, Andre Fredett, George Lopez, Luis Lopez & Anselmo Lopez; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends; He assuredly will be missed by all and never forgotten; In addition to his parents, Robbie was predeceased by his son the late Brian Nelson, two sisters the late Loretta Nelson and the late Carolyn Nelson Pollard and one brother the late Luther Nelson.
A Memorial service will take place at the Families First at Luz de Paz, (Funeraria Luz de Paz), 426 East Washington Ave., Bridgeport, CT on Thursday, September 20, 2018 at a noon time (12:00 P.M.)
Final Disposition will be held privately.
