Ray Robert Maissonett

Ray Robert Maissonett, age, 65, a beloved resident of Bridgeport, CT, passed away unexpectedly on July 19, 2024, in his home. He was born on July 31, 1958, in Bridgeport.  He is the son of the late  Rosa Maissonett and his Anselmo Maissonett his wife Joan of Bridgeport, CT.

Ray was known for his passion and skill in repairing bikes, scooters, and vehicles of all kinds. His meticulous nature and articulate approach extended beyond mechanics to his love for building models, creating intricate representations of various sizes with care and precision.  He also worked with the same zest for over 6 years at Longhorn Steakhouse in Shelton, CT.

Additionally, he will be deeply missed by his sister Rose Cruz Maissonett, and her husband Edwin Cruz. He is also survived by his stepsisters Shelley Puffen and Joan Banta. and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, colleagues and other friends.  

A memorial service to celebrate Ray's life will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2024, from 3-5 P.M. at Funeraria Luz de Paz, 426 E. Washington Avenue, Bridgeport, CT. 

Ray's sudden departure leaves a void in the hearts of all who knew him. His passion for craftsmanship and his gentle spirit will be fondly remembered by his family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to have shared in his life.
