Ray Gomez, 36, passed away on June 28, 2024 in Bridgeport, Hospital, Bridgeport, CT. Born on April 12, 1988, to Leandro R Gomez and Nanette Olivero, Ray was a beloved son, husband, father, and friend.

Ray had a zest for life, expressed through his passion for cars and motorcycles. His love for gaming and technology was known to all who knew him. Ray's playful spirit and great sense of humor made him the life of every gathering, earning him the affectionate nickname a "Hood Favorite." His pranks and jokes brought joy to everyone around him.

A true helper at heart, Ray never hesitated to assist those in need, earning the appreciation and respect of many wherever he went. He was employed at Triple S. Steel, where his hard work and dedication were admired by his colleagues.

Ray's family was his pride and joy. Along with his parents. Ray is survived by his loving wife, Laiza Aponte, and his cherished children: Jaylee Molina, Gia Molina, Acacia R. Gomez, Ray R. Gomez, Carmelo R. Gomez, Gage R Gomez and Hailey Gomez. His memory will also be treasured by a host of other relatives and countless friends.

Ray's passing leaves a void that cannot be filled, but his legacy of kindness, humor, and love will continue to inspire all who knew him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Visitation for friends will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2024, from 6-9 P.M. At the Funeraria Luz de Paz, 426 E. Washington Avenue, Bridgeport, CT.  

Final disposition will be held privately.
