Ramonita Ferrer Martinez

Ramonita Ferrer Martinez, age 64, of Bridgeport, passed away into the presence of the Lord on June 18, 2024, at her home in Bridgeport, Connecticut. She was born on January 21, 1960, in the beautiful town of Mayaguez, Puerto Rico.

Ramonita resided in Puerto Rico most of her life, but after a catastrophic hurricane in 2017, she relocated with her family to the Bridgeport area. She will always be remembered for her joyful personality and unwavering commitment to her loved ones. Her sense humor was her trademark and everyone who knew her could embrace the warmth she radiated to everyone around her. Some of the fondest memories revolve around family events, where she spent memorable times with those she loved dearly.

She is survived by her loving mother, Aurora Martinez; her sons, Ulises (Amanda) Llorens, Moises (Yara Michelle) Llorens, and Michael Llorens; her daughter, Jesmary Montes; along with 10 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Ramonita shared a special bond with each of them, leaving behind a legacy of love and guidance that will be cherished forever. With heavy hearts, we also bid farewell to her father, Andres Ferrer, who has gone before her. Ramonita's unwavering love and the memories she created will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

Visitation services to honor and celebrate Ramonita's life will take place on Saturday, June 29, 2024, from 2-5 P.M., at our funeral home. It will be a time to come together to share stories and memories of a remarkable woman whose kindness touched the lives of many.

In the journey of life and the bonds we forge along the way, Ramonita will forever remain a beacon of love and strength. May she rest in peace knowing she was truly loved and will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
