Ramona Ayala

Ramona Ayala, age 91, returned to the Loving Arms of the Lord on Saturday, October 31, 2020 in her Bridgeport residence. She was born in Juncos, Puerto Rico; daughter of the late Alejandro Reyes and Josefina Monserrate prior to relocating to the New York area many years ago. Ramona will be remembered as an outgoing, friendly and funny woman; who always made people feel welcome. She loved having people over and feeding them. Ramona loved selling and making "limber" and was known as the "Icey Lady." She is the loving mother of Lydia Cruz, Elizabeth Nazzario, Francis Moore and Jose Ayala; the caring grandmother of many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; and the sister of Martha and Nico Reyes. She is pre-deceased by her children Terry Ayala, Junior Ayala, Aida Ayala, William Ayala, Robert Ayala and Antonio Ayala.
