Ramon R. Colon: A Lifetime of Dedication to his Family.

 Ramon R. Colon, a beloved family man and dedicated retired landscaper, passed away on October 8, 2023, at the age of 69. Born on October 31, 1953, in Comerio, Puerto Rico, Ramon's life was marked by his commitment to his loved ones.

Ramon found his passion early on in life as he embarked on a career as a landscaper. For many years, he worked tirelessly, using his skills to transform ordinary spaces into breathtaking landscapes. His creativity and remarkable attention to detail were evident in every project he undertook. Through his work, Ramon didn't just shape the environment; he nurtured it with tender care.

While Ramon was undoubtedly a skilled professional, it was his character that truly set him apart. Possessing an unassuming nature, Ramon was a man of few words. Yet those who took the time to know him discovered a heart full of warmth and kindness. Behind his quiet demeanor lay a great sense of humor that never failed to bring joy to those around him.

Family was at the core of Ramon's being. He cherished every moment spent with his late wife Ana Maria Robles and their children Ana Aguilar, Joshua Robles,  Lisa Robles, and Ramon Robles. To him, home was not just a physical place but rather a sanctuary brimming with love and laughter. Ramon's grandchildren Priscila, Gio, Anthony, and Joshua Jr brought immeasurable joy to his life.

Despite growing up in a broken home himself, Ramon made it his mission to provide unwavering support and love for his family. He understood the true value of these bonds and strived every day to create a loving and nurturing environment. Ramon's dedication to his family was unparalleled, and he was the rock upon which they built their lives.

Ramon's commitment to service extended far beyond his work as a landscaper and his role as a family man. Known for placing the needs of others before his own, he consistently displayed a selfless nature that touched the lives of all who crossed his path. Friends and strangers alike could rely on Ramon for unwavering support and guidance during times of need.

In his free time, Ramon found solace in simple pleasures. Whether it was spending quality time with his family, enjoying the tranquility of home, he relished every moment with a grateful heart.

The memories we hold of Ramon will forever be etched in our hearts. As we gather to honor his life, we invite friends and family to join us for the visitation at Funeraria Luz De Paz located at 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport, CT 06608 on October 20, 2023, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

A funeral service will follow at the same location on October 20 at 12:30 PM. We will then proceed to the Park Cemetery Association situated at 620 Lindley Street, Bridgeport, CT 06606 for the burial ceremony, which will commence at 1:30 PM.

Ramon is survived by his ,children Ana Aguilar (Robert Aguilar), Joshua Robles Jr., Lisa Robles (Robert McDougal), and Ramon Robles. He also leaves behind cherished siblings Antonia, Juiso, Papo, Laura, Estel, Carmen Gloria, Alfredo, and Toño. Additionally, Ramon will be fondly remembered by his grandchildren Priscila, Gio, Anthony, and Joshua Jr, as well as his loyal canine companion, Tobi.

In this time of profound loss, Ramon's family finds solace in the knowledge that his spirit will forever live on in their hearts and the countless lives he touched. He leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion,  that will inspire all who carry his memory forward.
