Ramon Navarro

Ramon Navarro, age 83 most recently of Stratford, returned to the Loving Arms of the Lord on Monday, October 21, 2019, at St. Vincent's Medical Center, Bridgeport. He is the beloved husband of Maria A. Navarro. Ramon was born in Salinas, Puerto Rico; son of Guillermina Navarro prior to relocating to New York many years ago. Ramon was a diehard Mets and Jets fan; hardly ever missing a game. He also loved the country and traveling when he could. He enjoyed watching Western movies always watched the Spanish Channels. Most of all, Ramon was extremely giving and thoughtful and humble; ready to help anyone in a pinch. He will truly be missed. Along with his wife, he is survived by their children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and sisters. Friends and family are invited to attend Calling Hours on Sunday, October 27, 2019, from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz (Peaceful Light Funeral Home), 426 E. Washington Ave. Bridgeport, CT 06608. His funeral service is scheduled to begin at 8 a.m. at the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, at 9 a.m. at St. Mary's Parish, 25 Sherman St., Bridgeport, CT 06608. His interment is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. at St. Raymond's Cemetery, 2600 Lafayette Ave, The Bronx, NY 10465.
