Ramon Alberto DeJesus

Ramon Alberto DeJesus, a beloved son, father, brother, and cherished friend, passed away in Bridgeport, CT, on March 2, 2025, at the age of 71. Born on January 22, 1954, in Bridgeport, he spent his life rooted in the community he loved, where his legacy as an outstanding car salesman and a compassionate soul will forever linger.

Ramon was not only known for his professional success; he was a perfectionist with a grace that extended into every aspect of his life. His low-key demeanor coupled with a contagious personality made him a favorite among friends, family, and customers alike. His sense of humor brought joy to those around him, often lightening the mood and leaving a lasting impression of warmth and kindness.

As a devoted family man, Ramon cherished his role as a patriarch. He is survived by his loving children Madeline Alvarez, Melinda Rivera, Johnathan DeJesus, Jazmarie DeJesus, Vanessa DeJesus, and Joshua DeJesus, as well as his 12 adoring grandchildren. His dedication to his family was evident in every interaction, especially in the late-night hours when he could often be found cooking, sharing his exceptional culinary skills and passion for food, which he loved to share with others. He delighted in competing with friends and family in cooking, embodying both challenge and camaraderie in the kitchen.

He shared a special bond with his sisters, Ana DeJesus and Aracelis Diaz, and treated his niece and nephew Janessa and Jorge Berrios as they were his own children. Additionally, his other dear nieces Destiny and Leonides. Together, they illustrated the essence of companionship and family, creating beautiful memories that enriched their lives.

Ramon's gentle nature and selflessness meant he was always willing to lend a hand, even if he was in need himself. He had an innate ability to connect with people, ensuring that help was always nearby, whether it be through direct assistance or finding the right resource. Such acts of kindness are a testament to his remarkable character.

Though his parents, Luz Maria Marcano and Ramon DeJesus and brother Jose DeJesus, have predeceased him, the love and values imparted by him continue through his family, who carry forward his legacy of hard work, compassion, and humor.

A viewing to honor Ramon's life will be held on March 8, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Funeraria Luz De Paz, located at 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport, CT 06608.
