Rafael A. Gonzalez

Rafael A. Gonzalez, age 66, of Bridgeport has passed away into the Glorious presence of the Lord suddenly on January 19, 2022 in St. Vincent's Medical Center, Bridgeport, CT.  Rafael is the son of the late Evaristo Gonzalez and the late Lydia M. Gonzalez.  He was born in Camuy, Puerto Rico but had relocated to the local area many years ago.  He has resided here since.  Rafael was a very simple man who had been employed at the University of Bridgeport for almost 30 years providing security for all students and staff alike.  

He leaves to cherish his memory his sisters Nancy Gonzalez of Bridgeport and Miriam Ocasio of Bridgeport. In addition to a host of other relatives and friends whom will sorely miss him.  

Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Friday, January 28, 2022 from 10:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. Followed by interment in the Park Cemetery Association, 620 Lindley Street, Bridgeport, CT.
