Pedro Pablo Colon

Pedro Pablo Colon, a beloved member of the community, passed away on April 30, 2024, at Bridgeport Hospital in Bridgeport, CT. He was born in Villalba, Puerto Rico, on June 29, 1935. Pedro's life will be celebrated and remembered by all who knew him during the upcoming services.

Known for his happy and flirtatious demeanor, Pedro was a vibrant and determined individual. He adored "Las Peleas de Gallo" and found joy in being an active and free-spirited person. His love for life shone through as he enjoyed spending time at the Club playing dominos with friends.

Pedro leaves behind cherished memories with his family and friends. He is survived by his daughters Aurea J. Colon, Zoraida (Angel) Reyes, Maria M. Colon, son Nelson (Ivette) Burgos, daughter Brenda L. (Miguel) Bonilla, and 12 grandchildren. In addition to his surviving family members, he is mourned by his father Ramon Colon, mother Cruz Quiles, siblings Ramon Colon, Altagracia Colon, Carmen Melendez, Candida Colon, Margarita Colon; as well as predeceased siblings Aurora Colon, Rita Collazo, Petronila Colon, Pablo Colon.

The services to honor Pedro's life will take place at Funeraria Luz De Paz in Bridgeport on Monday, May 6th for visitation from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, May 7th from 9:00 AM At the funeral home followed by Mass in Christian Burial in St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church.   The burial will follow at Lakeview Cemetery in Bridgeport at approx 1:00 P.M.

Pedro will be deeply missed but forever remembered for his spirited personality and the love he shared with those around him. May he rest in peace knowing that he touched the lives of many with his infectious joy and determination.
