Orlando Rodriguez, age 42, beloved son of the late Pedro Rodriguez and Eloiza Ortiz of Bridgeport, has passed away into peaceful rest on November 15, 2021, in Bridgeport Hospital. Orlando was born in Bayamon, Puerto Rico but had relocated to the Bridgeport area many years ago. Orlando was a vibrant young man who was dearly loved wherever he went. He had the ability to bond with children wherever he went. He enjoyed the best moments in life when he was with kids. Orlando loved his family unconditionally and looked each day for each one of them. Whether on the phone or in person, their wellbeing was his priority in life. He enjoyed the finer things in dining, at times just a great dinner was all he needed. At a young age, Orlando loved to breakdance and you could find him somewhere on the floor or a piece of cut cardboard performing some great moves. He enjoyed some nice thrift shops and antiques where he would appreciate the uniqueness of items and made sure he obtained them for himself to cherish. Although young, he cherished his younger years and wanted to play music on the Vinyl records he once enjoyed hearing. Ultimately a music lover with a great sense of humor who enjoyed life's simpler things and valued that which is priceless. He will be sorely missed by all!
In addition to his mother, Orlando is survived by his grandmother Carmen Santana; his sons Orlando Rodriguez Jr., Rolando Rodriguez, Nathaniel Rodriguez, and Isaiah Rodriguez; his brothers Pedro Rodriguez and David Rodriguez (Nilsa Rodriguez); his grandaughter Ziaholys Rodriguez; and many other relatives and friends who will never forget the wonderful man he was.
