Orlando H. Lebron, 76, returned to the loving arms of the Lord on July 5, 2022, at the Branford Hospice Center, Branford, CT. He was born in Aguas Buenas, Puerto Rico, to the late Jose Lebron and Carmen Gloria Hernandez. He is the beloved husband of Dominga Montalvo.
Orlando is affectionately known to most as "Chuleta". He was a dedicated employee of the CT Department of Motor Vehicle for over thirty years as an Inspector and Tester. He was an avid collector of classic cars. He actively bought, refurbished, sold and raced his prized antiques. He was meticulous about every detail that he put into the restoration process. He was passionate about latin music , especially salsa and merengue and loved dancing. He was a very jovial person who stood firm in his opinions.
Additionally, Orlando leaves behind his dear children Luis. O. Lebron, Miguel (Kathy) Lebron, Carlos (Yolie) Lebron, Lucy Almeida Lebron (David), Oswald (Andrea) Lebron, Wilfredo (Meggan) Lebron, Randy Lebron and the Black Son Roosevelt Graham, and 26 precious grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren, and his siblings Jose M. Lebron, Wilfredo Lebron, Luis A. Lebron, Luz Flores-Hernandez, Gilbert Hernandez, Carmen Rodriguez Hernandez, Edwin Lebron, Juan Lebron and Gladys Lebron and a host of friends and relatives that will miss him. He was also predeceased by a brother Jose A. Lebron.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday, July 9, 2022, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, at Funeraria Luz de Paz, 426 East Washington Avenue, Bridgeport, CT. Final disposition will be held privately.
