Orlando Gonzalez

Orlando Gonzalez, age 80, currently of Shelton, has passed away into the peaceful rest of the Lord on April 1, 2022, in Shelton Lakes Nursing Facility, in Shelton, CT.  Orlando was born in Aguada, Puerto Rico but had relocated to Bridgeport in 1965 to be with the love of life, the late Maria L Gonzalez. They had been married for 54 years and had three children. 

Orlando is survived by his son Orlando Gonzalez, Jr.  His daughters,  Elaine Collazo, her husband Daniel, and Lourdes Florez, her husband Gustavo.  His siblings Carmen and Blanca Gonzalez.  His three beloved grandchildren are  Aaron, Camila, and Jennifer. In addition to his wife, Orlando was preceded in death by his grandson the late PFC Orlando Eric Gonzalez. 

Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Thursday, April 7, 2022 beginning at 10:00 A.M. at the Funeral Home followed by a funeral service at approximately 12:30 P.M.  Interment will follow in the Lakeview Cemetery, Bridgeport, CT where he will be laid to rest.
