Olga Segui

January 3, 1946 — October 7, 2024

Olga Segui, a beloved matriarch and cherished member of her family, was born on January 3, 1946, in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico. Her journey in this life came to a close on October 7, 2024, in Orlando, Florida, where she passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family.

Olga was deeply devoted to her faith as a Catholic, living her life according to Christian values. Her devotion was evident not only in her regular attendance at church but also in the love and kindness she extended to those around her. Olga was known for her exceptional culinary skills, particularly her ability to brew the best coffee, which she shared generously with family and friends.

She found joy in many pursuits, including her occasional visits to the casino, where she loved to spend time. However, it was her family that held the most important place in her heart. Olga's sisters were particularly dear to her, and she cherished the special memories they created together throughout their lives.

During her illness, Olga resided with her daughter, Sonia Vishno, and her husband, Damien, in Florida, who provided her with loving care until her final moments. Her departure from this world leaves a significant void in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Olga is survived by her children: Ernesto Segui Jr. and his wife, Hilda; Sonia Vishno and her husband, Damien, Oscar Segui Sr. and his girlfriend Ashleigh, and Daniel Segui and his wife, Shameena. Additionally, she leaves behind her sisters: Carmen Rivera, Nicolasa Colon, Blanca Diaz, Ada Escribano, and Natividad Segui, and Maria Valentin, along with 11 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren, all of whom carry forward her legacy of love, strength, and faith.

Olga was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ernesto Segui Sr.; grandson, Joel Alexander Gonzalez; great-grandsons, Leo Segui and Sebastian Segui; as well as her parents, Simeon Valentin and Clara Hernandez, as well as her sister Anna Gonzalez, brothers Pedro Valentin and Manuel Valentin. While her presence will be profoundly missed, the love she shared and the memories created will be treasured forever.
