Noemi Roldan Gonzalez, a beloved mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away on July 17, 2024, at St. Vincent's Medical Center in Bridgeport, CT. Born on March 15, 1952, in Santurce, Puerto Rico, Noemi lived a life marked by faith, love, and dedication to her family and community.
Noemi is survived by her daughter, Noemi Domench; her son, Juan Demench; her sisters, Rosamilagros Gonzalez, Virginia Lebron, and Josefina Gonzalez; her eight grandchildren; and her seven great-grandchildren. She is reunited in heaven with her son, Edwin Demench, and her parents, Toribio Roldan and Josefina Gonzalez. Noemi earned her high school diploma in Puerto Rico and was a strong Christian believer. She was known for her wisdom, humility, and joy. Noemi's strength and resilience were evident as she fulfilled both mother and father roles for her children. She was always willing to help anyone in need and was a devoted and loving mother who often spoke of seeking God's protection and guidance, especially during life's toughest moments.
One of Noemi's proudest accomplishments was serving as a Chaplin of her church, where she provided spiritual support and guidance to her community. She cherished watching telenovelas, spending time at the park, and enjoying family gatherings. Her love for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren brought her immense joy, and she especially loved eating flan during the holidays.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 2, 2024 from 5:00pm - 8:00pm, at Funeraria Luz De Paz, located at 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport, CT 06608. Family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by Noemi are invited to celebrate her life and honor her memory.
Noemi's legacy of love, faith, and strength will continue to inspire all who knew her. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered in our hearts.
