Nirrael "Monty" Montalvan, age 63, of Bridgeport, beloved husband of Norma Montalvan, passed away on August 23, 2022, in his home while surrounded by the love of his family and friends. Nirrael was born in Doylestown, PA, raised in Cidra, Puerto Rico and relocated to Bridgeport in 1974. He is the son of the late Benigno Montalvan and the late Carmen Malave. Nirrael was a very simple man who cared so much for others. He was an avid Yankees fan and for many years because of his love for the game of baseball, he played as part of the M&M Boys and the 50 and over League. He was employed at Sikorsky Aircraft for over 43 years as a Mechanic before retiring. He enjoyed working on old cars but his biggest passion was spending time with his family that he loved so much. Truly a Golden heart stopped beating and working hands are now at rest, but now more than ever we know this to be true, God only takes the best!
Besides his wife Nirrael is survived by his children Jeanelle Calder (Jason), Nirrael Montalvan, Jr. (Daniela), Jordan Montalvan & Elizza Montalvan, his siblings Benigno Montalvan, Horacio Montalvan, & Lionel Montalvan, six grandchildren and so many other relatives and friends who will dearly miss him.
