Nicolas Merida

Nicolas Merida, age 68, of Bridgeport has passed away into eternal rest on July 12, 2021 in St. Vincent's Medical Center, Bridgeport, CT; Nicholas was born in Guatemala but had relocated to the United States over 20 years ago where he has resided since. Nicolas is the beloved husband of Aura Merida of Bridgeport; He is the son of the late Manuel Merida and the late Maria Figueroa; In addition to his wife he is survived by his children Carlos Merida (Erika Marroquin), Ninette Merida, Delia Merida (Sergio Perez), Vanessa Merida (Wilson Lopez), and Karla Castillo (Carlos Cordero); his 10 grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends whom will sorely miss him. Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Sunday, July 18, 2021 from 6-9 P.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, 426 E. Washington Avenue, Bridgeport, CT 06608; Funeral services are scheduled to take place on Monday, July 19, 2020 beginning at 10:00 AM at the Funeral Home followed by interment in Mt. Grove Cemetery, Bridgeport, CT; Final disposition will take place in Mt.
