Natividad Pedraza

Natividad Pedraza, age 60 of Shelton, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, March 12, 2020 at Hewitt Health and Rehabilitation Center in Shelton. She was born in Puerto Rico, daughter of the late Juan Ramos and Matilda Gonzalez prior to relocating to the Connecticut area. She is the beloved wife of Pedro Pedraza, her husband of 44 years. She truly loved being a wife and loved being a mother even more. She had a true connection with children, and often helped her family by caring for the little ones while parents were working. From this, she began an in-home daycare and later went onto caring for children with special needs. Natividad is the loving mother of Carlos and Abigail Pedraza; the grandmother of Emma Giogios and Gabriel Isaac Colon; and the sister of Wilfredo Ramos, Oscar Ramos, Claribel Castillo, and Luz Pedraza. She is also survived by many other family members and friends that will sorely miss her. Family and friends are invited to attend Calling Hours on Wednesday, March 18, 2020, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, 426 E. Washington Ave. Bridgeport, CT 06608.
