Natividad Cruz

Natividad Cruz, age 66, of currently of Derby, Connecticut has passed into the glorious presence of the Almighty God on January 12, 2022, in Griffin Hospital, Derby, Connecticut. Natividad was born in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico to the late Aurelio Malave and the late Angelina Serrano. She had relocated to the Bridgeport area since 1968 at an early age. She is the beloved wife of Diomedes Cruz. Natividad had worked many years as a social worker and enjoyed being a blessing to others. She loved the Lord with all her heart, mind and soul. She was always willing to lend a hand to those in need even if she at times could use the help. Her selfless, caring nature was admired by all who knew her. She will be truly missed by all.

In addition to her husband, Natividad is survived by her siblings, Elba I. Malave, Vidalina Malave, Ramon Malave and Maria Ayala. and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends who will cherish those memories she leaves behind.

Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Tuesday, January 18, 2022, beginning at 10:00 A.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, (Peaceful Light Funeral Home), 426 E. Washington Avenue, Bridgeport, CT. Funeral service will take place at 12:30 P.M. prior to departing for interment in the Mt. Grove Easton Cemetery in Easton, Connecticut.
