Nancy C. Alpizar

Nancy C. Alpizar, age 65, of Waterbury, entered into eternal rest on February 22, 2018 at UConn Health, Farmington, CT. She was the beloved wife of Jorge Alpizar. Nancy was born in Ecuador to Cesar Cartagena Vega and the late Rosa Lopez Sandoval. In adddition to her father she is also survived by her daughter Nancy S. Alpizar (Emmanuel Quiñones); her son Irving D. Alpizar (Brandi Colby); her siblings Guadalupe Cartagena, Margarita Cartagena, Sylvia Cartagena, Cesar Cartagena Jr., and Rosa Elena Cartagena; and a host of other relatives and friends that will miss her dearly. Friends are invited to attend Calling Hours on Monday, February 26, 2018 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz (Peaceful Light Funeral Home) 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport, CT 06608.
