Mitsou Pun

Mitsou Pun, age 55, of Bridgeport, passed away into the peaceful rest of the Lord on December 5, 2021, in Yale-New Haven Hospital, New Haven, CT. Mitsou was born in Haiti but relocated to the United States some years ago where she has resided since. She is the daughter of the late Rochefort Pun and the late Marieann Edit Oracles. Mitsou was a woman full of life who selflessly cared for everyone she came into contact with. Her love for her fellow man was clearly evident regardless of whether or not they were family. She was a very educated woman, not only in healthcare but also as a Mortgage officer, CPA & more. She was a very health-conscious woman who would constantly strive for others to invest in their own health and well-being. She used the term, "Health is Wealth" simply as a way to engage the thought process of others. Mitsou was very generous, not only in giving her care and attention to others but in contributing to the overall well-being of whoever she came into contact with. She loved her family and was excited to have finally had her first grandaughter just months ago. As a woman full of independence, and strong in her beliefs she gave her all and cared for nothing in return. Truly a Gem that today the Almighty holds precious in his loving presence.

Mitsou is survived by her family daughters, Isis Dawes, Yoli Bertrand, and Emma Pun. Her grandchildren, Tymel Robinson, Christian Jean Marie, & Rori Bertrand, her sister Marie Mondesir, and a host of family members who will dearly miss her.

Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Saturday, December 18, 2021 beginning 9:00 A.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, (Peaceful Light Funeral Home),. 426 E. Washington Avenue, Bridgeport, CT 06608. A Funeral Service will take place at the funeral home followed by departure for internment into the Lakeview Cemetery Association, 885 Boston Avenue, Bridgeport, CT.
