Miguel A. Nieves

Miguel A. Nieves, age 74, of Bridgeport has entered into rest on January 17, 2021, in Bridgeport Hospital, Bridgeport, CT.  Miguel was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico but had relocated to the Bridgeport area many years ago.  He is the son of the late Confessor Nieves and the late Cresencia Alicea.  Miguel was a retired Police Officer after 22 years of serving the City.  Miguel loved music and playing congas during parties and family gatherings.  He loved dancing and being a joker at all events he attended.  He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family where he would enjoy playing cards and simply spending quality time with those he loved the most.  He is the husband of Normal I. Nieves of Bridgeport.  In addition to his wife Miguel is survived by his sons Michael Nieves, Miguel Nieves, Michael A. Nieves, and Brandon Nieves.  his daughter Hilda Nieves, Terry Nieves, and Monica Nieves.   His siblings Belen Nieves, Marta Nieves, Magdela Nieves, Pilar Nieves and Carmen Nieves.  ten Grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, and other relatives and friends who will sorely miss him.  

Services for Miguel were held privately at the convenience of the family.
