Michael McDonald

Michael McDonald, 62, returned to the loving arms of the Lord on August 8, 2024, at Bridgeport Hospital, Bridgeport, CT.   He was born in St. Lucie, Florida to the late Iziah McDonald and the late Ethel May Sellers.  He was raised by Angel Ocasio and Felicita Rodriguez.

Michael was a talented landscaper who worked long hours with great detail to beautify countless gardens.  He was a dedicated worker who was extremely organized and very particular about his work.  His compassion for others was admirable.  He enjoyed watching movies at home and relaxing with a cold beer.  He was used his attention to detail in the kitchen as he lovingly prepared delicious meals for family functions, he was best known for cooking Puerto Rican "pasteles"

Michael leaves behind to honor his memory his loving children Louis, Erica, Anthony, Eliah, Madison and Elias, his precious grandson Giovanni, his dear sisters Ada Ocasio, Angelita Ramos, Noemi Ocasio and Lilliam Solis, his uncle and roommate Ramon Rodriguez, and a host of friends and relatives that will miss him dearly.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday, August 18, 2024 from 1:00 PM - 4:00PM at Funeraria Luz de Paz, 426 East Washington Avenue, Bridgeport, CT.   Final interment will be held at the discretion of the family.
