Michael J. Hopkins

Michael J. Hopkins, 42, returned to the loving arms of the Lord on September 24, 2023, at St. Francis Hospital, Hartford, CT.  He was born in Bridgeport, CT to the late Lisa Lynn Hopkins and William Boyd.  He resided in Bristol, CT.

Michael was a very joyful person who's grand spirit lit up the room when he entered.  He was a die hard New York Giants fan, car afficionado - especially drag racing and enjoyed collecting hats and sneakers.  His love and devotion for his mother continued well past her return to heaven.  Of all his hobbies and interests his greatest past time were the moments that he spent with his precious son Michael, who was his pride and joy.

Aside from his father, Michael and his wife Kristen, leaves behind to cherish his memory his precious son Michael J. Hopkins, his siblings Donald Gaughan, Williams Boyd, Mathew Boyd, Stephanie Boyd, Trisha Donaldson, Danielle Donaldson and a host of friends and relatives that will miss him dearly.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, October 6, 2023, from 5:00 - 8:00 PM at Luz de Paz Funeral Home, 426 East Washington Avenue, Bridgeport, CT.
