Martin A. Micheo, age 78, currently of Bedford, Mass has passed away into the peaceful rest of the Lord on December 21, 2021, at the Edith Nourse Rogers Memorial Veterans Hospital in Bedford, Mass; He is the son of the late Martin Micheo and the Jesusa Berrios. He was born in Santurce, Puerto Rico but had relocated to the US Mainland after serving our country in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. He served in the Norwalk Police Department as the First Hispanic Police Officer of that City.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his children Rosana Maria Micheo, Leilani Vicky Marrero, Martin Eric Micheo, Melissa Micheo, Cherylann Micheo-Bregler, Luigi Micheo, and Michelle Micheo Cruz. his siblings Evelyn Micheo, Sonia M. Micheo, Myrna Micheo and Marisol Micheo. 22 grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends who will sorely miss him.
Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Wednesday, January 5, 2021, from 9:00 AM with a departure promptly at 12:00 P.M. for interment in the Veteran's Cemetery, 317 Bow Lane, Middletown, CT. Therefore, Burial at the Veteran's Cemetery is scheduled for 1:00 P.M.
