Marie J. Leveille

Julienne Marie Leveille, the beloved matriarch and cherished member of her family, passed away on March 12, 2025, in Bridgeport, Connecticut, at the age of 85. Born on May 8, 1939, in Haiti, Marie's journey through life was characterized by her deep devotion to her family and her passion for nurturing the next generation.

Julienne dedicated her career to being businesswomen and a nanny, a role in which she flourished by providing care and support to countless children. Her nurturing spirit extended beyond her profession, permeating all aspects of her life and leaving a lasting impact on those fortunate enough to know her.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Maggie Leveille, and her son, Willy Leveille. Julienne took tremendous pride in her three grandchildren, Allens Verdier, Marley Verdier and Brianna Leveille, who were a source of boundless joy in her life. Her legacy will live on in their hearts and memories.

Julienne was also a sister, and she leaves behind her siblings Cleomene Roc, Marylia Oreus and Ozias Roc, who will continue to carry her memory with them.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Rotchille Comice and Ilanise Roc, who instilled in her the values of love and compassion that she exemplified throughout her life.

Julienne will be honored and remembered with a viewing on March 22, 2025, beginning at 8:00 AM and concluding at 9:00 AM, followed by a Mass at Holy Name of Jesus in Stratford, Connecticut at 9:00 AM. The funeral Mass will conclude with her burial at St. Michael's Cemetery at 10:30 AM.

The family encourages all who knew Julienne to come together to celebrate her life and the profound impact she had on so many. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered for her unwavering love and kindness.
