Maria Luisa Santiago

Maria Luisa Santiago, age 80 of Bridgeport, entered into eternal rest on Monday, October 15, 2018 at her Daughter's residence in Bridgeport. She is the beloved wife of Jose Antonio Santiago. Maria was born in Lares, Puerto Rico; daughter of the late Mateo Santiago Molina and Susana Santiago Guzman. She is the loving mother of Ivan Santiago, Daisy Santiago, Oria Santiago Blackwell, and Sonia Santiago Bernardo; and the caring grandmother of Jorge Santiago, Annie Santiago, Jose Torres, Maria Aurora Santiago, Jorge Santiago, Christopher Andujar, Martha Santiago, Madelyn Echevarria, Manuel Hostos, Richard Torres and Eddie Santiago; and the caring sister of Candido Santiago. Maria is also survived by many great grandchildren, other family members and friends. Friends and Family are invited to attend Calling Hours on Friday, October 19, 2018 from 11 am to 12:30 p.m. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport, CT 06608. A service is scheduled to follow. Her interment will take place in Park Cemetery, 620 Lindley Street, Bridgeport, CT 06606. She is predeceased by her sons Jose Santiago and Jose Luis Santiago.
