Maria Orsini, a beloved soul who touched the lives of many, has left behind legacy of love and inspiration. Born on December 17, 1955, Maria lived a life filled with joy and laughter until she peacefully passed away on June 25, 2024. Maria will always be remembered for her warm and loving personality, her fearless and strong spirit, and her great sense of humor that could light up any room. She cherished simple joys in life, from singing and dancing with her family to shopping for things that brought her happiness. Maria found enjoyment in painting and drawing, where her creativity truly shined. One of her favorite places to visit was Captain's Cove and Joey C’s on Sundays where she would create beautiful memories with her husband.
Family was at the core of Maria's world. She is survived by her loving husband Jose Orsini, her daughters Joanne Cordero and Michelle Orsini, her mother Eusebia Hernandez, her sister Gladys Hernandez, her brothers Luis Hernandez, and Juan Hernandez. Maria also leaves behind a legacy through her grandchildren: Dermaris, Orlando, Giovanni and Dominic Feliciano. She will be deeply missed by her sister-in-law Antonia Hernandez and Carmen Hernandez, as well as her nieces Melissa, Chenille, Jennifer, Virginia, and nephews Ralph and Jason.
In the embrace of eternal peace, Maria is reunited with her father Juan Hernandez who has gone before her.
Those who had the privilege of knowing Maria will forever hold dear the memories they shared with this remarkable woman. Her love for snowflakes during Christmas time will forever be etched in their hearts. Maria's dedication to visiting her mom and sister with every chance she could testament to the depth of her caring nature.
Services to honor and celebrate Maria's life will be held on July 5th, 2024. The visitation will take place at Funeraria Luz De Paz in Bridgeport at 9:00 AM followed by a Mass at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church at noon. The burial will then be held at Lakeview Cemetery at 1:30 PM.
