Maria Magdalena Ortiz

Maria Magdalena Ortiz, 66, returned to the loving arms of the Lord on December 20, 2023, in Bridgeport, CT.  She was born in Sabana Grande, Puerto Rico to the late Jorge Ortiz and the late Ramonita Flores.  

Maria was a faithful servant of the Lord who praised him and thanked him for his abundant blessings everyday.  She was the matriarch of her family and was constantly on the phone communicating with her loved ones.  Her grandchildren were the light of her life. She was a very tolerant person whose arms were open to all.  She was a talented cook and loved caring for her pets.  Her grand presence will be missed by all.

Maria leaves behind to honor her memory her loving children Maribel Cruz, Luis Lugo and Nelson Cruz, her precious grandchildren Victor, Joshua, Luis, Christian, Anthony and Xavier, her dear sisters Carmen and Eli and a host of friends and relatives that will miss her dearly.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, December 30, 2023, at Iglesia Pentecostal Unida Hispana on 73 Wallace Street in Bridgeport, from 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM.
