Maria V. Hernandez, age 56, beloved wife of Geraldo Torres, has passed away into the peaceful rest of the Lord on May, 6, 2021 in Bridgeport Hospital, Bridgeport, CT; A lifelong Bridgeport resident Maria is the daughter of Nelida Hernandez; Maria was a woman full of life, who loved more than anything, spending quality time with her family, children and great grandchildren alike; Many knew her as "Chele" and whoever she had next to her enjoyed her great sense humor. Laughing was her favorite pass time and further more would be better when it was with her family. Maria had a big heart and would find so much satisfaction in helping someone in need even if at times she wasn't feeling her best. A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands at rest, God, we know you always choose the best! rest in peace Maria, until we meet again! Besides her spouse Maria leaves to cherish her memory, her children Christina Hernandez, Andre Hernandez and Orlando Hernandez and his spouse Kiki. her siblings Hector Hernandez, Eddie Hernandez and Tony Hernandez; her grandchildren Yovanni Hernandez and Amaya Wilson; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends whom will sorely miss her; Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 beginning at 9:39 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz (Peaceful light Funeral Home), 426 E.
