Maria L. Gonzalez, age 77 most recently of Trumbull, returned to the Loving Arms of the Lord on Tuesday, June 16, 2020 at St. Joseph's Manor in Trumbull. She was born in Aguada, Puerto Rico; daughter of the late Ruperto and Maria Gonzalez prior to relocating to the Bridgeport area many years ago. Maria is the loving wife of Orlando Gonzalez, Sr.; the caring mother of Elaine E. Gonzalez, Lourdes (Gustavo) Flores, and Orlando Gonzalez, Jr.; the caring grandmother of Camila Flores and Aaron Flores; and the sister of Ruperto, Ruben, Ramon, Ramonita and Vidalina Gonzalez. Family and friends are invited to attend Calling Hours on Tuesday, June 23, 2020 from 10 to 12:30 p.m. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, 426 E. Washington Ave. Bridgeport, CT 06608. A Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for 1 p.m. following visitation at St. Charles Borromeo Church. Her interment will follow at Lakeview Cemetery, Bridgeport.
