Maria Socorro Flores

Maria "Sokie" Flores, 61, returned to the loving arms of the Lord on January 21, 2022, in St. Vincent's Medical Center in Bridgeport, CT. She was born in Bridgeport, CT to the daughter of the late Ramiro Flores and Maria Aponte.

Sokie was a very happy spirit who appreciated all of the beautiful blessings that life had to offer. She was an active participant at the Kennedy Center for a number of years.

Sokie is survived by her mother, her adoring siblings Lucy Rivera and Ramiro Flores, her precious nieces and a host of family and friends that will miss her sorely.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, January 25, 2022, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm at Funeraria Luz de Paz, 426 East Washington Ave., Bridgeport, CT. Burial will follow immediately after at Park Cemetery, 620 Lindley Street, Bridgeport, CT.

Proper mask usage is required by all inside the funeral home at all times.
