Maria DeJesus Vega

Maria DeJesus Vega, age 62, beloved daughter of the late Juan DeJesus and the late Maria V. Vega has passed away on December 16, 2021, in Bridgeport Hospital. Maria was born in Vega Alta, Puerto Rico but had relocated to the Bridgeport area many years ago. She was a very joyful person, very creative with her hands, and loved to read. She enjoyed leisure time at the casino and doing puzzles. she was a phenomenal cook and enjoyed spending time with those she loved any chance she had.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her siblings, Donato, Elizabeth, Ramon Migdalia, Olga, Milagros, Wanda, and Juan Carlos DeJesus. a host of Nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends who will dearly miss her.

Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Sunday, December 19, 2021, from 6-9 P.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, (Peaceful Light Funeral Home), 426 E. Washington Avenue, Bridgeport, CT 06608;

final disposition will take place in the Municipal Cemetery of Vega Alta, Puerto Rico.
