Marcia Morales

Marcia Morales, age 81, of Bridgeport, a native of Santurce, Puerto Rico before she came to the Bridgeport area over 63 years ago. She is the beloved daughter of the late Antonio Morales and the late Maria Lopez; Marcia worked at Sperry Remington where she was employed for many years as an assembler. Marcia was A loving woman and was a member of St. Charle's Borromeo Church for over 30 years. She was part of the Legion de Maria, Divina Misericordia and she was in the Choir for many years. Marcia Loved the Lord without hesitation. She is survived by her husband Jorge Roman; Her children Evelyn Roman, Glady's Germaine (Lonnie), Linda Roman, William Roman (Madeline), Jose Roman (Miriam), Edwin Roman, and Roberto O'niel (Nelly); nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; her Siblings Palmira Soler, Manolin Morales, Guillermo Morales and Roberto Morales; her best friend for over 50 years Maria Santiago.In addition to her parents Marcia was predeceased by her son the late George Roman; her siblings the late Gloria Tellado, the late Manuel Tellado, the late Rafael Morales, the late Ramon Morales, the Late Jose Morales and the late Antonio Morales. Friends are invited at attend calling hours on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 from 6-8 P.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, (Peaceful Light Funeral Home), 426 East Washington Ave., Bridgeport; Funeral Services have been scheduled for Thursday, June 1, 2017 beginning at 10:00 A.M. at the Funeral Home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at the St. Charle's Borromeo Church at 11:00 A.M. Interment will follow in Lakeview Cemetery, Bridgeport, CT.
