Maireny Severino

Maireny Severino, age 51 of Bridgeport, returned to the Loving Arms of the Lord on Saturday July 31, 2021 at Bridgeport Hospital. She is the beloved wife of Diomedes Severino. Maireny was born in the Dominican Republic; daughter of Rafael Fernandez and Maria Rodriguez. Maireny was a very friendly person and always liked talking on the phone and in person with her friends and family. She was always a gracious and conscientious host; ensuring everyone who entered her home felt welcomed and cared for. More than anything, Maireny was an amazing and dedicated mother. She absolutely loved her children; she continuously worked hard to make sure they had the best and wanted for nothing. When preparing meals for her family, it was like they were at a restaurant; everyone ate the meal they requested. She will be truly missed by those she loved! Maireny is the loving mother of Diony and Maidi Severino; and the sister of Raquel, Nalda, Leo, Carmen, Kennedy, and Felix. Family and friends are invited to attend Calling Hours on Saturday, August 7, 2021 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz 426 E. Washington Ave. Bridgeport, CT 06608.
